Another collaboration on projects for the DēLonghi brand with Retail of the Future that has been very smooth – we are always met with a proactive and innovative approach on ROTF’s part. Thanks to the creative ideas, unique design, flexibility and professional approach of the entire team, a number of premium DēLonghi brand materials have been created to boost our product presentation.
Retail of the Future's approach to projects implemented for the Kenwood brand is consistently very professional, creative and proactive, while respecting the values and characteristics of the brand. Thanks to their ideas and innovative methods, a unique Playtable for the Kenwood Chef XL Titanium food processor was created, which rightfully deserved the POPAI award.
Retail of the Future combines creative ideas, unique design, innovative materials and a professional approach of the entire team. Despite the complexity of the project, thanks to these elements, we managed to create a unique collection of stands for the Braun MultiQuick 9 range of hand blenders for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The demanding and challenging installation in both markets went perfectly well. Communication during the entire project was seamless, and the product’s presentation at 2016 POPAI Awards is also a testament to the high quality of the collection.
The aim of the project was to activate multisensory elements with a focus on the key elements of the Oreo brand – particularly the experience and enjoyment it evokes. The objective was also to support the sale of new products and signature Oreo biscuits.
The result
Together with the Retail of the Future team, we managed to develop a completely unique in-store POSM solution – an Oreo module (Biscuit category) to highlight Oreo signature products and complementary categories. This Oreo module also acts as the template for the entire Biscuit categoryThis unique solution leverages key consumer insights and the latest trends in POSM.
- Premium materials including moving mouthpiece
- "Biscuit crunch" sound when movement is detected through embedded motion sensors
- Possibility of detecting height of consumers including children thanks to the installed sensory meter
- Compact dimensions - fits into most aisles across modern chains
Although I was not present at the creative process of this project, I can speak to its installation which was professional and smooth. The sharp LCD, which runs for about 16 hours a day, attracts the customer’s attention. There is also a colored RGB strip that frames the entire module as if it were a skim. However, I consider the biggest innovation to be the part with a rotating motor, which allows you to insert a product that then illuminates and spins. I consider this solution to be very innovative and unique on the market.
We primarily focus on the sale of food, drugstore and industrial goods. In addition, we operate three shoe stores offering modern and elegant footwear. Our goal with this project was to offer this assortment to customers in a modern environment while adhering to the existing elements of our other shoe stores. At the same time, the task was to link color design with the concept of a grocery store in a completely new concept using natural materials. Choosing the right partner was important to us and today, a few months after the opening of both stores, we can already say that together we managed to fulfill our most important goal, and that is a satisfied customer.

The project was completed in cooperation with Product Designer Filip Mirbauer, builder, project manager and production director.
